I still preferred the versus modes and gameplay from no mercy and the wcw games, the aki engine played like a wrestling match and let you turn things around in dramatic fashion. if those fuckers had more time and put in all the features of the later smackdown games into an aki engine game, youd have the ultimate wrestling video game. the ladder matches in no mercy were crazy enough, and if you could go around the arena like in smackdown and have all those objects to mess with, there is no telling how based it would be to play
