It's like... what the fuck do you is happening the rest of the year? Do you think these wrestlers are sleeping? Miyahara or Kenoh or Nakajima or Ishikawa or whomever gets 4 and 5 stars and you're not even the least interested in seeing what they're doing the other 364 days a year?
The internet tells you to avoid early 2000's NJPW and you're not the least bit interested to see why? You really think there's nothing from the era that spawned Nagata, Suzuki, Kojima, Takayama, etc that's worth seeing? Sasaki visits NOAH, has one of the best matches in Japanese wrestling history and you don't want to see what he was doing in NJPW or AJPW just weeks/months earlier... or after?
It's just bizarre to me. You don't have to be an epic contrarian "I only watch matches with 12 people in a VFW Hall" nerd but you don't have to follow the pack lockstep.
