It was a pretty basic match. These two probably could put on a great match but I'm guessing they're scared shitless of Cody getting injured after how much of a rocky road this Wrestlemania build has been so they're probably making him play it safe.

It was a tv match to open hot and have storyline progression. The way the commercial breaks were structured pretty much made it impossible to have an all-time match plus they probably didn't want to step on the main event.
