Sting’s AEW “run” has exposed him. I was a Sting fag but being in a tag team, no singles matches, no promos, no story whatsoever. Just collecting probably the fattest checks on the whole roster.

One of Sting's greatest strengths was his charisma, he wasn't a great promo material wise but carried it with charisma
His other strength was his look
His other strength was his athleticism for a guy his size

He's not cutting many promos and when he does they're not getting anything over except his own retirement
He looks old, small and wrestles in a shirt now
He can't do anything in the ring anymore and relies on Walmart New Jack spots to get a pop

I love Sting but his AEW run is awful. Ricky Steamboat had the best old man mini run of all time, followed by Flair's 01-08 run. Flair/HHH on raw for the title was kino and Flair/HBK is the GOAT retirement match

It's HBKs best non-Bret match and worlds apart from modern bullshit. HBK/Undertaker influenced that way more with it's finisher spam and yummy callbacks and OMG SHOCKED FACES.
