Don't get married, don't move out, don't reproduce, don't find your spirituality, get your moral compass from ugly lesbians, all sex should be casual, and a bunch of other nonsense designed to keep people afraid and alone. And part of that is having a deep longing for nostalgia, because things were inherently better because they were younger.
