Some predatory companies (prepaid credit cards, payday loans, anxiety/depression drug-makers, etc) prefer targeting younger demos and are willing to pay more money
Same thing with "minorities", which is why BET/MTV/etc run such garbage ads trying to convince you to go into debt or get addicted to pills

You can be #1, on cable, in the demo, by 20,000 viewers or by 400,000 viewers
It's good for bragging rights but not much else. Keeping payroll/expenses low while still winning is what matters.....not just WINNING #1 at all costs
