Why does he book storylines at a snail's pace? Why does every major champion have to hold their titles for 4 years?

I know it's popular to shit on Russo, but he brought excitement to the product. Everything is so stale now. You couldn't stop watching wrestling for two weeks or else you missed entire character arcs.

HHH has turned WWE into fucking One Piece.

The bloodline stuff was always HHH
HHH has had a lot of legit power for a lot longer than people want to believe. He wanted Roman to be the next top star back in 2011, Vince wanted Big E (AND HIS BIG BLACK DICK) and HHH forced through E
Before that HHH forced Shane out after driving a wedge between Vince and Shane
The entire never-ending neverchanging booking formula has his hands all over it, only exception is Brock who's conveniently now gone

Haitch picked the shield guys that's it, and he clearly wanted Seth to be the guy out of them especially after he put him over like he only did for Batista
Roman's push was Vince written all over it, smash the guy over endlessly and have him run through everyone like Hogan did, it was his bad habits taking over as he got more and more senile
Heyman was the one who pitched the bloodline stuff and Vince figured out he could do the same exact thing he was doing before but just have heel fuck finishes, that's why they always put over Roman as uber dominant on commentary when he always wins with interference
