Kanye has always had someone writing with/for him. Whether it was Cyhi, Kid Cudi, Really Doe…any number of guys. He’s also always had producers that did the technical work and helped shape the sounds. Jon Brion was behind the first two albums even though Ye gets all the production credits. He’s not as egregious as Dr. Dre where who knows what the guy actually does and has two dozen producers and rappers working 24/7 around him or someone like Rick Rubin who openly says he knows nothing about music and his dream is to produce an album by having never met the artist or heard their music.
