But I will say that aside from his issues which ultimately cost him his life, Eddie's style probably would've transitioned well into his later years. He was already in the process of transitioning to a more technical style when he died, since that's around when he debuted the Lasso from El Paso, and I doubt he'd suddenly lose his grasp of psychology and how to tell a story, which I think people tend to forget is a much larger part of wrestling than pure workrate
Probably pure cope, but I think he'd have made good GM material later on.
