When I first heard how over Knight was, I thought he was some kinda super workhorse who had charisma, like a total package deal. But even his regular work is pretty middling, I feel like people should want to move away from main events being carried by a persona else you end up with Goldberg-type shit again.

They want to emphasize the opportunist angle so they can have Rollins lose dirty after The Bloodline rough him up at Mania and give him a reason to heal up. He still made Cody sweat on RAW and definitely isn't booked as some chickenshit heel, but I think they knew if he squashed Knight it'd be even worse blowback than it was.
