The build to Starrcade was great, the Bullrope map with Bass and Black Bart, Magnum and Blanchard, Minnesota Wrecking Crew, The Russians, Flair and Dusty. All great promos including the famous Hard Times promo, a few great matches (Flair and the Andersons had a great 6-man, Manny Hernandez had a few serious televised bouts)
But the Jimmy Valiant and Jim Cornette shit is unwatchable garbage. How is Cornette the soapbox diva about old school wrasslin' the way he is today when his involvement in the shows was such hockey bullshit? I suppose he has a few more years to improve before moving to New York but god damn was it dire.
