It really is bizarre if they're going this route. Literally the only thing LA Knight needs at this point is a title. I do hope they go with what others have suggested and do a multi man ladder match for the US title

When they didn't have Knight job to Ivar due to AJ interfering I thought they actually had a clue only to be let down by fucking interference in an elimination chamber match. Between this and Gunther jobbing probably going to stop watching again after WM.

Gunther losing is only to get the title off of him and move him straight up to the main event. That said, I think they'll just keep the IC title on him and he'll win at Berlin against Drew/Priest/whoever.

when was the last time Paul had a short title reign? Priest and Balor will have been champs for 6 months by the time WM rolls around, Iyo is already past that. Drew's hogging that belt for as many months at a minimum which means Gunther will have to wait, and even then Punk surely gets it first.

Yeah, he kills the crowds when he loses just like happened at EC today. The moment he lost McIntyre got booed and then the crowd died so hard not even Rhea could revive it.
