He needed to be begged for Austin and Rock to get spotlight and/or not get buried.
He had zero understanding of yellow fever and the draw and appeal of Damage CTRL or joshi wrestling in general could’ve been happening some 20ish years ago.
Zach Ryder is unironically the single most influential wrestler of this generation and transformed the way companies market their stars. Vince had lightning in a bottle and smashed it because he got over without permission.
He pushed Hunter because they were both fucking Steph.
He had an anti-draw like Lesnar win everything his first year because they were both shitting on the same women. He the brought the guy back and allowed him to be a lazy shitter for a decade and tank ratings in two completely separate eras. And now it was all for nothing.
