Perth stadium's seating layout being more or less designed for one type of sport that runs a super unique layout that only works for 2 sports (cricket and Aussie Football). WWE even ran their backstage area on the actual pitch for once, which you can see in OP's image. Wembley's got it's own problems for sure, but the Wembley format for seats works with a square pitch and hosting numerous types of sports with seating that's slopped. Perth's stadium basically fucks over anyone on the furthest side areas already with a terrible view (especially when you do a canopy set up) unless you're watching Aussie Football or Cricket because they're using the whole field and not having to cut it down.
The other options they had for big stadiums was one literally named after Cricket (the same spherical layout) and Accor which would've had problems with the canopy but would've been easier to work with. The tarps on that side were more influenced by shitty incompatible view more than anything, especially on the ground where WWE didn't have the pillars of the canopy block viewing. International Wrestling stuff is a nightmare production wise because American stadiums are great at being multi-purpose. Australia might be one of the worst places they possibly could've run stadium-wise.
