>>13564720It was the summer between 11th and 12th grade, and I missed the first hour or so of Raw because I was playing a game of pickup baseball with friends, turned on Raw quite confused to see a cage match in a SmackDown ring between Benoit and JBL (which was not even the current feud), soon after they displayed the graphic on the bottom of the screen that Benoit and his family had died - which was pretty shocking.
Went over to the only computer in the house (it was 2007) and checked WrestleView to catch up on the news. At that point I realized I had completely forgotten Vengeance was on the night before and I didn't even check the results yet (so I didn't even know he missed the PPV) - which was very not typical of me because I was a big wrestling nerd back then, and apparently still am - I am here after all.
Anyway thanks OP for reminding me of that summer; it was a based time in my life
