Can wwe just buy ajpw and call it nxt Japan and keep the all japan logo atleast in part and let njpw and aew continue their thing. Wwe would have all japans territory, roster, video library and trademarks. It’d be better than nxt uk

AJPW will sell to NJPW first before selling to foreigners. Not to mention there is legit zero interest in Japan for a WWE product and modern day AJPW is a fucking corpse that is like the 7th most popular promotion in Japan. It's not the 90s anymore. Don't embarrass yourself kid. I started watching wrestling during the attitude era when I was in highschool, along with some other people in my class. We considered it comedy and laughed about how fake it was. The first thing we noticed was how embarrassing the fake punches were. The stomping with each one was bad comedy. It made them all look mentally retarded.

AJPW is doing okay all things considering. It isn't in the heights of the Baba or even Muto years but they have comparable ticket sales to NOAH without any of the big money NOAH has. AJPW is even booked better than NOAH lately.

Japanese promotions in Japan don't own their libraries. It's the TV stations. For example, Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Japan's streaming services don't have a lot of their older shows due to Nippon TV having the rights to it. New Japan works side by side with TV Asahi, but a lot of their 00's content is missing due to that footage being under Sky Perfect.

So far the only noteworthy younger guy to leave AJPW is Jake Lee but losing Jake and gaining Nakajima is a way better deal for AJPW than it is for NOAH. NOAH seems to be banking hard on Jake Lee and Jack Morris but I think Jake's hitting his ceiling and while Morris looks like a stud I'm still skeptical on whether he'll really grow in anything else.
