I'm high key disappointed in Danielson's AEW run. I get that he's gotten hurt but the only things I thought were all that good have been the draw with Omega and the Wrestle Kingdom match vs Okada which wasn't even for his own promotion (was underwhelmed by the first Forbidden Door match).

It was so stupid that Danielson and Omega had one match and no proper feud. They teased it a lot and it would've been weeks of TV assuming both guys stayed healthy. I think the two of them directly crossed paths for that one moment and never really did anything with each other ever again.

He relies way to much of realistic selling. We all care about him, but when he uses that to do a realistic concussion sell it just reminds you he should probably retire.

Seriously, why cant wrestlers throw a punch anymore and make an effort to make it look real? He just wheeled his arm, he didn't involve his shoulders and body weight to make it look as real as possible. No momentum at all. Despite WWE's flaws they are at least consistent. But AEW is seriously hurting the business with these things. I know its cliche to keep saying that things kill the business but I do think that they are unironically putting the last nail in the coffin when it comes to kayfabe
