Jericho is the best i've ever seen, Shawn in 1996-1997 was really good in terms of charisma and character but his matches always sucked

Dating myself here obviously but my earliest memories of pro wrestling was Wrestlemania 2000 and tuning in to the WWF when I could/parents would let me as a little kid in 1999. Rock is my all time favorite but really on board with Cody Rhodes right now.

i wouldnt say i've watched anything consistently since the monday night wars. i check in on intriguing ppvs from time to time and stay until the show does something gay that makes me feel stupid for watching/ paying attention.

so i'm normally good for a segment of dynamite every 8 months and 10 minutes of wwe raw and smackdown after being bored through most of wrestlemania every year.

i like cody, la knight, jey, roman, darby, swerve and the idea of mox, though all his matches suck. brock was always a favorite, but he's kwaboty now after being disappeared over a text message.

LA Knight is cool even though he's midcard for life, Liv Morgan is hot but she never felt main event, Alexa & Carmella are both seemingly retired, the IIconics became women's tag champs but got split up & left wrestling, Ronda is no longer in WWE, Jade Cargill barely wrestles anymore, Sasha left WWE & hasn't been relevant in 2+ years, Bray's Fiend character was cool but he literally died, AEW has Toni Storm, Wardlow, Christian, etc but none of them can truly shine on such a small show. Like...I enjoy some wrestlers over the years but they either fail, get injured, or slow down over the years.

Since 1997 when I was a kid. There were a few years I skipped when it got unbearable, like 2003-2004, 2007-2010. Luckily NJPW picked up the slack in the 2010s when WWE got really bad.

Grim. Am I the only one who started in late 2000 and actually rated Ruthless Aggression? Seems like everyone hated it and tuned out of wrestling. Stopped watching regularly in 2015 because modern wrestling and indies are ass. NJPW was the only based promotion of the 2010s, but fuck watching that without OGOATa now. I mostly watch pre-pandemic stuff now. All good 2000s indie feds are dead anyway.

Started watching WCW in 1998. My cousin hyped me up for the Hogan vs Goldberg match on Nitro and my aunt bought me a bunch of Wolfpac shit for Christmas later that year.

Watched WCW until it was bought by WWE in 2001. Switched to watching WWE and was pro-Alliance.

First time going to a live event was the Smackdown in 2002 when Vince McMahon did the lethal dose of poison promo and turned around in the chair with nWo on it. The first WrestleMania I watched was X8 (still favorite one). Was cool seeing the WCW guys return in the early 00s. Interest slowly faded between 2005 and 2008 when they were forcing John Cena. I remember realizing I had been watching for ten years and thought I should move on. Have never seen the WrestleManias from 2009, 2010, and 2011. Didn't keep with what was going on at all.

Got back into WWE in 2012 when The Rock/Brock Lesnar returned. I liked heel CM Punk during his 434 day reign or whatever. They kept doing things that annoyed me though. I thought The Shield storyline could have been way cooler. Kept feeling like they were missing opportunities and would make retard decisions. Lost interest after Wrestlemania XXX when Punk left and the NXT indie shit started. Kept up with it somewhat after that and watched events here and there. Every time I would turn on Raw I would lose interest within the first 15 minutes and turn it off, especially with Seth Rollins was on. AEW was even worse. Never got into those All In events or NXT or anything like that.

Have been paying attention to WWE pretty consistently since last summer.

I like Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, Austin Theory, Gunther, Roman Reigns, The Rock, Bron Breakker, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul.

The first wrestling match I remember ever seeing was Edge vs Mick Foley at Mania. My older was watching it so I tagged along, what an introduction to wrestling that was.
I have been watching wrestling ever since then although I stopped watching WWE around 2015 or so.
There is a lot of wrestler I currently like but at the very top there would be Ospreay, Okada, Joe and The BCC. Swerve is starting to win me over too.

Nothing is amazing me now but I prefer the more organic,less homogenous style of AEW than WWE. Loved Lucha Underground during its brief existence.

I've watched since 96, but it became mostly background noise in 2005 or so. There's still a lot of guys I like, but the soul is gone. I thought AEW was going to save things but I think the network wanted it to be more like WWE so that's where we're at. Thanks WWE. Even when it's not your fault, it still kinda is.

I have watched consistently from 2002 to the present, with a brief pause in 05.

My current favourites are LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, and MJF (at least when he's a pure heel, his face run was dogshit.) My all time favourite is Kane.

From 2011 to now, stopped watching in like 2018 to late 2019 because I caught some clips of The Fiend and AEW being a thing. Favorites in WWE right now are Gunther, Drew, Truth and Cody. AEW favorites are Darby, Mox, and all the Elite guys.
