In my mind, the future of AEW should be
Okada - final boss of AEW, a cocky heel bastard that can back it up and is generally a dominating force ala Goldberg.
Kenny Omega - Okada's main rival and the one competing for the "best in the world" spot along with Okada, but gradually passing the torch to his heir
Will Ospreay - heir of Ospreay, main face of AEW, the guy who you can't help but root for. Say Sting in perception (obviously not gimmicks)
Takeshita - heir of Okada, the potential to be the same cocky heel dominating bastard that Okada is, but can still back it up and doesn't need interference cheating to win
Jay White - the scumbag type heel, needs a faction to do his dirty work for him. Still one of the best in the world, but can't go toe to toe with Takeshita/Ospreay and needs to utilize his "advantages". Say Hogan in the nWo or Jay himself in NJPW.
Hangman - a Steve Austin type of heel (not the face) who is badass and an asshole, but you can't help but root for him even though he is a heel or more of a tweener.
Swerve - this one is hard for me to place. He's obviously taken KIllmonger as his inspiration - a villain who is liked by the audience for having good arguments, but don't know how well that would work in wrestling. I see him as a future face and rival to Hangman, but it's hard to place him since he's just now entering the ME scene
