They can watch a show and instead of following along, they argue against everything they see that doesn't fit their own self-made view of what wrestling is supposed to be.
All the normal people have already stopped buying tickets, and as AEW continues to degenerate, more and more of the marks stop buying tickets too.
AEW is now at the point where they're paying people (not just giving free tickets) to sit in the empty seats. Even the gifted ticket holders leave before half of Dynamite is over. The tickets are for 4 hours of wrestling and they leave in 30 minutes.
So really, the only people left for the main event in the arenas themselves, on TV, are the people who like the absolute state of AEW or can't recognise how awful it is.
Sure the fans pop and get hyped, all 500 of them. Then all 490 of them. Then 480 of them. 280, when Sting's retired. 270. And the 1800 paid fillers quietly enjoy a gifted hotdog.
