>>13605082>>13605109Omega renewing his contract with AEW last year (or was it at the end of 2022, can't remember) was probably one of the worst decisions he could have made.
He is in the twilight of his career and probably the only person who, in storyline, could be seen as a viable successor to Roman Reigns.
>the tribal chief, the head of the table vs. the world traveler coming to complete his journey/careerThe storyline alone
>acknowledges Reigns as the final boss of professional wrestling>acknowledges the WWE titles as the highest price and achievement in professional wrestling>acknowledges the main event player (franchise player) of WWE as the pinnacle of the sport>no career is ever complete without winning that one titleOmega winning the titles from Reigns would have made Kenny's career come full circle. This would have been truly unique in the history of le sport.
It doesn't even matter for how long Omega would have held the titles. A few months, a year? Who cares. The story would've been complete.
After Reigns as champ and Rock retiring the biggest possible match-up in professional wrestling would've been a Mania main event Kenny Omega vs. Cody Rhodes for the title.
How come they wasted this!??!??!?!
As I said, even Reignseseseses career would have been completed as it would have acknowledged him as the final boss of professional wrestling, the head of the table. Reigns could have retired after that and everybody would be satisfied.
Perfect ending, nobody would even disagree with his legacy.
Yeah, no, but Kenny extended his contract with AEW and now he's in bad health.
Man...
