I mean if the kick gave him a concussion, it gave him a concussion. And that sucks and Goldberg is at fault. But what he does and how he does it afterwards is paramount. Obviously everyone can use the copout of "we didn't know" but if you got fucked up and blasted by a kick and it made you see stars, then you should probably try and take it easy for a while and not immediately continue competing in more matches. Bret was truly a mark of the highest order

The whole screwjob could have been avoided if Vince agreed to the DQ Bret wanted, but asked him to leave the belt with the company after the match. That way Bret couldn't take the belt to WCW tv if that's what Vince was really afraid of. The fact that no one thought about that just makes me continue to think the whole thing was a work.
