It was Armageddon, just another of the monthly PPVs (a B-PPV), not special like WrestleMania or SummerSlam. And it wasn't even the main event nor the main attraction. Instead, Mr. McMahon vs Triple H was.

Show had the title in his contract but Vince didn't like him anymore so he spitefully booked him into an embarrassing feud with a midcarder before jobbing him out on free tv in five minutes. Many such cases.
