Semi-serious answer: They're looking to merge with as many companies as they can. They've already got a deal in place with Disney (ABC+ESPN) and FOX to create a new sports streaming service under one umbrella, which if you're a sports league, you're probably pissed about this because the number of buyers competing with each other is basically going down to three with this, Comcast, and Paramount (who until recently was also in talks with merging with WBD but this appears to be dead). They're heading towards a monopoly and their end goal is to be the one to dictate the sports rights, not the leagues. And if they get to spend less on sports, they have more to spend on other products (whether or not they do this is another issue).
