Hell Jado and Gedo took what Onita taught them, then went to work for Baba to learn from the guy who taught the guy that taught them. Super Delfin took everything he learned from Onita, then went and learned under Ultimo Dragon, then went and learned under The Great Sasuke, then took everything he learned back home to Osaka and trained an entire generation of light heavyweights. Tam Nakano is poised to take over a back office job with Bushiroad managing Stardom and assissting in training.
Onita has a massively oversized footprint for a guy whose initial run in AJPW was cut short right at the start of his big push and who really only had six years in early FMW where he was actually influential on the industry.
