Fat acceptance happened. She is going for a Latina look there, but distinctly 2000s. Those years are peak fat shaming for women. Women today who grew up in them and got fat afterwards will talk about them like it was WW1 for teenage girls (the lowest suicide rate on record for young adults was the mid 2000s) to cope with putting on weight. It's weird to think about actually that Vida Guerra is this tiny thing but back then her ass was considered big.
