How did they even get to be champions?

>supposed to be eye candy but two are fat old asians and the other is a non-character
>have no gimmick besides the heel dickheads / mean girls who pragmatically help each other cheat
>even the name Damage Ctrl makes no sense
>have an immense following for some reason
>look smaller and less interesting than the women they fight

Am I missing out on something? There is a reason why they didn't even get to take part in the Wrestlemania kickoff.

Where they big in Japan or NXT or something? Is this some weird form of idol fanboyism?

I can't imagine any of them fight Lita, Rhea or any of the more believable female champions.
