Ric Flair, actually. But yes, Hogan is above Kenny Omega. Kenny can perform the moves but he doesn't understand psychology. Like so many modern workers, it's just a gymnastics exhibition, a preplanned cooperative tumbling routine. Just because someone like Danielson carried Omega to a good match (as did a few others) does not mean Omega is a good wrestler. Just like Warrior isn't a good wrestler because Savage and Rude carried him to some good matches. But at least Warrior can cut a promo and has a dimes look.

Workrate is one part of pro wrestling.

And if your workrate fails to make the match look real, then it means nothing. The #1 rule of pro wrestling is to treat it as though it were real. Omega (and the Bucks for that matter) fail at this, and therefore they are bad pro wrestlers, regardless of anything else they might do.

You never watched a Hogan match irl because "realistic" would be the last word to describe them. You think 'hulking up YOU' is realism? Omega's matches in NJPW are far by far the biggest example of realism in wrestling and wrestling as its peak aside from King's Road AJPW. Hulk seldom had good matches. His strengths lay elsewhere

No wrestling does this, closest is UWFi/RINGs which is why it's the only type of wrestling the Frank Gotch and Lou Theszs of the world appreciated. They thought the 70s/80s stuff was hokey fake looking crap, because it is. If you can't accept that Gotch thought Dean Malenko or a Harley Race wrestled like an unrealistic flippy shitter then you can't appreciate wrestling. There's styles you can not like, but if you watch Lawler Memphis matches fully enthralled then say Omega looks fake it's because you're a nostalgia riddled fag that has no concept of what fighting or even simulated fighting actually looks like, anyone who does thinks they're both goofy and fake and that's fine you can enjoy that or get invested in it, but that's what it is.
