>>13654279Not really. Nobody really understood what b4a was. There was no hindsight, much less knowledge of MMA, and WWF had been exploring shoots and drawing back the curtain on kayfabe. Watching it, even though jr constantly called it saying "there is no plan here, it's just a straight up fight", hinting that it was the only nonworked part of the show - most of us thought it was still a work. It was really confused and messy and Bart didn't get over as he should have. Really, they should have run a cross promotion event within UFC and sent their shoot fighters into the octagon. WWF fans would've understood what was actually going on better I think.
