>>13654800Having BCC vs FTR/Kingston ahead of the PPV was a smart move to hype the PPV matches.....having the match go 20+ minutes was the stupid part. Should have gone 9-11 minutes, everyone gets some offense in, then a screwy finish, brawling while the bell rings frantically, "We'll have to see what happens on Sunday!"
Tony is getting closer but still not there. He books shows like someone who doesn't own a TV, he books every show like he's in the crowd. That doesn't translate to the TV audience. It takes minimal effort to change the channel for 30 minutes then switch back when it gets exciting - your choices at the arena are basically stay in your seat, piss/food break or leave.
If Tony really wants fans to "get their money worth", that's what dark matches are for. Not stupid shit with Jay Lethal vs Jobber before the show, I mean like House of Black vs BCC, not taped for later, not put on YouTube, not put anywhere. Fans in attendance only. But Tony *literally hates* not broadcasting matches, especially ones with top stars.......even if it's what's best for business.
