this guy was one of the best talkers in the indie scene, does AEW know what they have? I've seen him cut some great promos but they should be giving him bigger storylines

when he cuts promos they're still insanely scathing and some of the best in the business currently, I prefer 20s hungry Mox promos because of his voice pitch and messier look but modern Mox still has it.

He could be based if he had good uppermid guys around him in a TV-14 show to feud with. Give him 98 Taker, 99 HHH and he would do pretty well, imo. Same if you put him in 99 or 2000 WWF against guys like Shamrock. But if you put him in a PG WWE or a AEW surrounded by people like Claudio, Yuta, Danielson, and FTR, he's not at his full potential.

Moxley would be absolute dimes in a 99 Hell in the Cell with someone good from that era. He's like HHH. He's better when he's around better people in the right environment.

Mox is cool in AEW but I think super high produced glossy production doesn't suit his style, I love his promos shot on cheap digital in grimy environments, like the one where he's drunk while Stone Temple Pilots (Plush) is playing in the background), they just have so much soul

I find AEW consistently at its best when it's an ECW tribute fed and at its worst when it's trying to be like modern WWE/NXT. The peak of AEW for me was the Punk/MJF angle with the Raven promo callbacks but all the gay friendship angles and matches based around 2.9999 nearfalls don't do it for me

I do worry about hiring WWE creative since while they'd probably do better stories than AEW has now, it reeks of the same desperation from the Thunder era of WCW and the Bischoff/Hogan era of TNA
