>>13665079LOL. I just got finished with my 1991 WWF rewatch (Wrestling with Paul, PPVs, and SNME). I did think those promos were unintentionally hilarious. But Slaughter could have pulled the Iraqi Sympathizer gimmick from the midcard. He was never booked as a serious threat to guys like Hogan and Warrior. He had massive help to beat Warrior as is. His bloody brawl with Hogan at WrestleMania 7 was good though. Earthquake would have made more sense though, since Hogan had been feuding with him since the summer of 1990, and they never had a definitive 1v1 blowoff match. Their feud was ended within the Royal Rumbl instead.
