Much like everything else in AEW, It doesn't make a lot of sense, it took too long to get here, and nobody actually cares anymore because the iron is not hot.
Maybe if they had Strong cheat to win the title while he was still coming out in the wheelchair, it could have been entertaining and might lead somewhere in a storyline. But as it is, Roddy is back to being a complete and utter non factor. Pitty title reign. Now, we have yet another short little guy with this belt who will have yummy wummy bangers with his best friends every week in overly long matches with zero build.
