As we reported here yesterday, Ric Flair got himself in hot water with WWE management by going off the rails and hijacking the WWE 2K14 symposium on Sunday evening before the SummerSlam pay-per-view.

When Bryan humbly stated "I honestly feel like I don't belong up here", Flair instead of putting the guy over and telling him how wrong he was, retorted "Hey Daniel, 41 years of wrestling [Bruiser] Brody and Blackjack [Mulligan] you can imagine how I feel about you being up here, good Lord, Jesus Christ, what would Harley [Race] say about him?"

Nah you're deluded. AJ's work looks legit and stuff. Bryan's work look soft and phoney. Bryan's yes kick don't look like they'd crack an egg. AJ way more athletic than AJ also. In a shoot AJ would kill Bryan.

This and I say this as someone who loved AJ. He had a decent run in NJPW but he never ever reached the heights of Bryan or Kenny. He's coasted his entire WWE run and his TNA run was meh. Amazing wrestler, don't get me wrong, but incredibly overrated. Nowhere near the best

Bryan worked a pretty exciting style in his 2013-14 run. He's gotten more boring since then, presumably because of all the injuries, and no producers to tell him what the audience wants to see.

Bryan AEW is better than AJ TNA
Bryan already has a match in NJPW better than anything AJ has done there.

Bryan has cut more great promos in the last 4 months than AJ has in his entire 20+ year career.

Bryan was the main star of Wrestlemania 30 and main heel of Wrestlemania 35. AJ is an afterthought and disappointment throughout every Wrestlemania.

Watch Brock Lesnar's matches with AJ and Bryan. Bryan's match has emotion and struggle and babyface passion. AJ just fixes his hair and clinically does moves.

Being a WWE Champion and main eventing WM puts AJ on a higher pedestal than Kenny, imo. AJ achieved more. Preferring AJ or Kenny based off wrestling or matches is different. Bryan mogs both in the achievement department.

Meant AJ and Bryan, sorry. I really like both matches but I walked away feeling like they were the same thing. I was looking forward to Bryan/Brock for years. Couldn’t help but feel it was derivative of the AJ match.

Kenny started an entire new promotion based on his hype. AJ, as much as I love him, hasn't even achieved a fraction of that. In fact, his tenure in WWE has been mostly meh. He's had better run than most but he was still never really treated as much of a star. As for Bryan, maybe if we take his whole career. But he has never reached the matches Kenny got to in NJPW. And maybe that's partly because the WWE slop style stiffed him from goin all out, but still. I can't remember one Bryan match that really made me fucking jump from my seat like that Omega/Okada match at WK 11
