It lines up with what Punk paid for his new house right after he signed, if you use the formula most people use when being smart with their money of a house being 30 percent of your income. They say Bryan’s was 2 million which makes sense, and that prior to Punk it was Mox who had the biggest deal at 2.5 a year. Those all seem like real numbers.
I doubt a guy like Janela or someone like Kip Sabian or Jimmy Havok were getting 6 figures. I would guess they got paid rate scompetitive with NXT, something like 50-80k. Guys with WWE or NXT exposure probably broke 6 figures and a few ex WWE guys like Miro, Cesaro, Andrade and Allistar Black probably ended up doing better in AEW financially than they did in WWE. Especially since they got paid mostly to not wrestle.
