Back in 2004, if someone were to cope with the declining Raw and SD ratings by looking back 5 years, it would not be productive (would include years prior to the dip, i.e. late Attitude Era) and it would not shine a light on that trend. You can't fix a problem that you won't even admit exists.
Just be honest. AEW isn't as fun as it was 5 years ago. Yes there are some good matches at the PPVs (mixed with crap of course) but the booking is rotten AND predictable, and the TV shows are not exciting at all. You know it's true but you are a dedicated console warrior and so must defend AEW even when they're screwing up.
And no, this isn't about WWE. Can't say I'm a fan of either at this point. That's another thing you can't wrap your head around, because to you, everyone must choose a side.
Stop coping. Call out bad wrestling when you see it. It won't get better without lots of fan criticism btw.
