There is no salary cap in pro wrestling, retard. Your argument is completely off base.

There is no hard limit for the amount you can pay someone, or pay your entire roster.
From a wrestling fan perspective, WWE could afford to pay Ohtani, Trout, and any other number of top tier free agents whatever they required. There is no rule against it, no law.

As a fan, you should absolutely want the Dodgers to sign everyone if there is no penalty for them to do so, ya dingleberry.

You genuinely have no idea how profitable WWE is, do you? They have billions of dollars of revenue at their disposal and we're talking about salaries topping out at a low 8 figures.

The idea that they would need to jack up any prices because they paid a couple of guys something like 1/100,000ths of their total revenue is hilarious.

Also, baseball technically doesn't have a salary cap either. Which is another reason why it was obviously correct for the Dodgers to spend that money on Ohtani.

Anon, I'm going to help you understand the sums of money involved here.

WWE is a BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION, anon.
They could pay guys 100million dollars and still have no good reason to raise your ticket prices.

The amount of money they've generated from their TV deals is almost beyond comprehension -- the human mind cannot properly process such astronomical sums. So use the time example and consider you're potentially upset that someone is spending "a few days' money" when the company has decades worth of money to play with.

I don't mean any offense but you are absolutely a useful idiot, the exact kind of mark that the corporate world wants to just shrug its shoulders and go on getting nothing back for what you put in.

There are MLB franchises worth less than the WWE (not even talking about their corporate backing now with TKO which has made them even bigger) that pay guys 100 million dollar contracts and don't raise their ticket prices as a result. This is a pretty common practice in real sports.
