Rather, the allegations that the biggest promoter in history was a headshitting rapist.
AEW’s descent into irrelevancy is a grim reminder of past promotional peaks with TNA and WCW. The reality may very well be that nothing can top WWE or even be on the same plane anymore. When people in America and other countries outside of Mexico and Japan think of wrestling, they think of WWE. How can anyone overcome that wall?
It’s like the WWE is the potato industry and AEW produces frozen french fries. However the potato industry is doing will determine what happens to companies like AEW.
