>>13716467>they have been extremely stable since their inceptionNo they haven't. They've declined in attendance by significant numbers. The have a consistent minimum number of TV viewers and every other number is going down besides expenses.
>he can run it for 200 years at a loss and wont have to. probably already in the clear after the option year rate hike.No he can't, autist. And what rate hike? WBD have no incentive to increase the spend on AEW and they have been axing finished films that are guaranteed to profit more in a month than aew ever will. The idea that they would pay out the ass to keep a show that hasn't grown is ridiculous. If they get any increase it would be shocking.
>wwe literally did the thing you are crying aboutWWE moved to a growing platform with a much larger audience/reach. All of their other numbers (merch, awareness, visibility, market share) stand to dramatically increase globally with a Netflix deal. Idiots like Meltzer only see one number but don't understand the actual implications of a deal like that. AEW was approached by Netflix early on and they turned it down because they're fucking idiots. They could have insane visibility now on a global scale instead of 700,000 fat single men.
