Now, I listen to podcasts and watch a few clips on YouTube if people talk about shit. Cornette shitting himself about AEW will never not be funny. I unironically tried hatewatching AEW in January but after a minute of a Briscoe tribute, they transitioned into a Bucks promo (gotta take credit for that Briscoe ratings bump, amirite?) and it was just brutally unwatchable. The absolute fuckery is just so transparent and fake, even for professional wrestling. I like wrestling. I like Jericho. Cody. Miro. Bunny. MJF. Penelope. Britt. Mox. Punk. Jay Lethal. The Rock. R Truth. Gunn Club. LA Knight. The Acclaimed. I even liked Jurassic Express and Jungle Boy. I like being amused and entertained. So I will take from AEW what it is at this point. A train wreck to be made fun of. If they ever get their shit together and start being something other than a sawdusted version of NJPW booked for the smarkiest of smarks, I'll watch again. But right now, it's a fucking parody of a shitty parody and the Bucks are the main reason for that. AEW can even fuck up Swerve at this point.
