im am talking about when he wasnt president yet. in the 08 campaign video tapes from jeremiah wright's sermons leaked where he saying shit lie "god damn america!". i think for supposed bad treatment of black people, but also mideast policy since 9/11. right or wrong is irrelevant, im saying thats the scandal that broke. because he was obamas pastor.
and i am obama managed to smooth it out by making a speech, not to a big crowd, not on a grand dais, but at a humble plain lectern without any campaign shit cluttering it, he gave a nuanced and reasonable sounding speech explaining his position to he american people. again, whether it was genuine and heartfelt or cynical and manipulatve is not the point here. also whether the voters should have let it slide or not, irrlevant, thats not my point. my point is he made that speech and managed to smooth it out. because he went on to win the election. so clearly he successfully smoothed it out. rightly or wrongly, irrelevant. im just stating plain facts.
and so if he managed to smooth that out wth the voters in 2008, then dwayne can easily smooth out using 'crossdresser' as an insult n 2028 or the 2030s. it's especially easy for him because he has wrestling character/promno as the perfect excuse.
