I've went on maybe 5 dates in my life but it never got past the second date. I've only been kissed on the cheek romantically once and another time one of my female friends felt bad for me when I told her I had never been in a relationship so she held hands with me for a bit. I've slowly stopped caring over the years and cringe at the thought of having a girlfriend but every now and again I feel like I'd like to experience it at least once I guess.

It's that. A woman I used to be close friends with would hook up with a new guy every other week and even admitted that she just seeks validation through men because she hates herself and it makes her feel important.
