Owen fell when his promo video was playing on the titantron and while the ref was clearing the ring a bit for the next match
Because of this the arena's lights were darkened at the time
Even if someone had snuck in a camcorder, it was highly unlikely for them to have captured Owen's fall. Not only due to the arena darkness but due to most of the crowd being focused on either looking at the tron or elsewhere

The hardcam more than likely recorded the moment Owen fell, but as you said, it would look like shit because of the darkness in the arena at the time.
