With Ospreay, they want to resolve the Don Callis story first, which is probably a good idea as splitting from and prevailing over the Don Callis family will probably make Ospreay a bigger babyface in the end.
With Okada, it seems they want him to win the Continental Crown instead, which is fine, because he can get that championship over while he's becoming a weekly fixture on AEW TV, it's important that you have your other championships on important people too, so people are invested in them. In a perfect world, you would probably have the International Championship on Okada and the Continental Crown on Roderick Strong, but whatever.

They've been there for like a week.
They mostly guested a few PPV's before and only that 100k or so will be familiar enough with them to begin with. Give it a little time.
I seem to recall Roman being booed out of the building for years (not in a good way) before it started working, also the Rock to start with.

I was fine with World-TNT-International. But I also don't dislike the idea of the yearly round robin tournament having a title associated with it that the champion has to put up, and that title having the same rules as that tournament (no seconds at ringside).

Okada is coming for Edkin's titles because Edkin is a cringe weeb and he wants to show him who's boss.

Ospreay will be in line for a title shot after he beats Bryan. It will be interesting to see who he chases to Wembley and how they get there.

The International was a good idea in that theoretically that's a belt you could let guys from NJPW, DDT, or CMLL win and take to their promotions for cross promotional stuff. Guys like Mox and Danielson who want to work NJPW a lot are perfect for that kind of belt.

What the absolute fuck is Okada's motivation to win the Contintental Crown? Why should he care? What I'd do is have Okada beat the fuck out of Eddie, win the Continental Crown, then throw all three belts in a trash can and light it on fire. Then whoever his mouthpiece is explains Okada did it to prove a point that all the other belts in AEW are worthless and beneath the Rainmaker. He's vacating the Continental Crown that he literally just won and challenging for the world championship because that's the only one that matters. Eddie cries in the background.

Why are Adam Copeland, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, etc all content with wrestling in random tag matches and going after midcard belts instead of the AEW Championship? Nothing makes sense when it comes to Tony's booking. He's autistic and has no clue what he's doing.

Even then, it's insane he's jobbing to random midcarders rather than taking the upper card, pre-main event gatekeeper role. Nobody's he's put over has amounted to anything yet. He's pissed away any legacy he had in AEW. This is almost as bad as Vader's late '90s WWF run.

Could be reasoned as being too old to be a main event contender, he is more suited to being in non-title feuds/storylines assuming Tony was competent enough to manage that

Nah he was fine there, the issue is he just HAD to put Garcia over and so that was his big angle for like 6 months after that. Then Mox beat him for the interim title. If anything Danielson is in a better place than he has been for a while.
