I can agree with that to an extent.
X-pac had some fans during his early days with the gimmick before he wore out his welcome.

The New Age Outlaws also had fans who enjoyed their antics EXCEPT the overly long and repetitive intros.

Chyna had fans as well but that was more to do with her body than anything DX related.

I'm watching the Raw from June 29, 1998 now. Started with Survivor Series 1997. The stuff with Kane has been pretty good too. I also never fast forward through anything with Sable either. God damn that bitch is hot, even with the bolt ons

In 2006 or 2007 when they did the DX reunion I thought it was some lame version of something cool in the past but it was just as bad then as it was originally

Just listen to the crowds. They were over as fuck. One time they did an angle where Road Dogg couldn't speak and the crowd did his whole entrance promo shtick for the NAO word for word for him and loud as hell too. Crowd loved X-Pac during that whole face run. Triple H was over as a babyface during 98 DX too. Obviously a lot was childish sprinkled with some casual racism but it was over during its time which is really the only fair way to judge it

Honestly, I was PEAK 14 year old cringe during the peak of the AE and I always thought DX was fucking gay (and I was an Fchad) but I always repped nWo as better and cooler.
I even thought Rock led The Nation was more based than DX.
