I have been around a very long time and seen random nobodies who were only tangentially attached to 4chan get hounded for years by shoot schizos trying to do everything they can to destroy their lives. There are entire forums on the internet filled with people who just woke up one day and decide to make a particular person's life worse and so catalog and stalk them for years and years slowly building up evidence and worming their way into the confidences of people surrounding their target. Like the fact there are quite a few users of kiwifarms on /pw/ at any given time should be reason enough to be real careful when playing with fire.
No one is bullet proof. No one's security is perfect. All it takes is for one or more insane person to decide that they want to fuck with you and frankly speaking being associated with 4chan would justify that kind of thing in a lot of people's eyes. Even if they can't prove anything, just having people spreading rumors and forcing you to defend yourself against their lies will damage your brand.
