Okada speaks English just not very well. In AEW where matches are put together by agents they probably have guys like Nakazawa on hand to help with translation if they have specific points they need to hit for TV. In smaller promotions, for instance I remember one podcast interview with Priscilla Kelly talking about her time at TJPW and she said they just got out google translate to communicate so they could put it together.

I guess I thought it was an alternative to WWE wrestling show you could enjoy and get into without reading the backstory and history of indie wrestling, a completely and separate saga of japanese sudoku wrestling federations and their current and former stars and follow seventeen different youtube shows and personal vlogs of wrestlers to figure out what the fuck was going on the show at the time that I was watching it on my limited time off during the week.
