Cody hasn't even gotten a victory by DQ yet.
How the fuck can Cozy Codes "finnisj le stowee" when he's not even in his dad's position?
The last thing they want to do with this is end it and leave people thinking "that was awesome, but it could've been better IF".

Cody will win by DQ on the second night.
Rock will win the title at Summerslam.
Cody will have to win clean at Survivor Series, and when he wins clean and gets the title it MUST be in Madison Square Garden.
This is the only way to do it without leaving possibilities open. It's the completionist's way, and the best way.

The only reason the Dusty finished worked was the territory system - you’d have your local star get the visual pin but the champ would retain because of a myriad of reasons - and since because there was no internet, this was fine.

I still legitimately wonder what’s going to happen with Cody after he actually wins, but he’s not going to lose this time for another year long chase. Either he’s winning outright or losing and that’ll be it. It’s the same as Cena between WM28 and 29, so dollars to donuts he wins and then it doesn’t matter in a few months because it’s all about the chase.
