This was pure garbage. Felt super Vince McMahon-ish with how corny aspects of this film were. Prime Hogan deserved a better movie.

Agreed. Fits the zeitgeist of 90s wrestling well. No Holds Barred doesn’t even fit the zeitgeist of the 80s & suffers from all the McMahon-isms.

I like it because it's the kind of thing you would have seen on your local network affiliate during a rainy Sunday afternoon in the early 90s.
I would give anything to be a fly on the wall when Hogan and Vince wrote the script in a hotel room over a weekend during a coke binge.

As the anon above said it literally WAS written by Vince, whatever the perscribed writer handed him evidently got torn up and Vince and Hulk just redid it themselves. It's all very much in his voice, right down to the poop jokes.
