He also figured out how to work the latch on his pen. One day I unlocked it because I was planning on mucking his stye, but left the latch closed and secured. Somehow he had managed to unlatch the gate, close the gate behind him, close the latch. He wandered over to the room the feed was kept it, opened the door, moved a pallet over to the shelf where the bags of feed were stack, climbed up the pallet, and tore open a sack of feed to help himself to an all he could eat feast.
Pigs are much smarter than people give them credit for.
